Description
The unsaturated heparin disaccharides are produced by the action of bacterial heparinase enzymes on high grade porcine heparin and isolated by high resolution gel filtration and ion exchange chromotography.
The enzyme action results in a C4-C5 double bond in uronic acid (∆UA) that absorbs at 232 nm.
Our range includes N-unsubstituted disaccharides (HD010 – HD013)
Application
For disaccharide analysis of heparin and heparan sulphate.
Suitable for USP Chemical Tests / ⟨207⟩ 1,6-Anhydro Derivative for Enoxaparin Sodium
See cat # HD001, HD002, HD003, HD004, HD005, HD006, HD007 and HD008.
New Product Information:
Heparin Disaccharide Standard Mix (HD Mix) – please email info@galenlabsupplies.com further information
The heparin disaccharide mix is designed for disaccharide composition analysis of heparin and/or heparan sulphate digested by heparinase enzymes.
Convenient and ready to use the HD Mix is provided as a predissolved aqueous solution of heparin disaccharides HD001, HD002, HD003, HD004, HD005, HD006, HD007 and HD008.
The Heparin Disaccharide Standard Mix (HD Mix) contains enough solution for 10 x 100µl applications. The profile below shows a typical separation of the disaccharides standards. (The exact salt concentration required to elute each sample will vary with column type and manufacture.)
